Lynn Cole Obituary

Lynn cut my hair about 100 times, since I first moved to the PV in 2002. Except for family, the most important people in your life are your barber or hairdresser (they know all your secrets), your car mechanic, your doctor, and your dentist, in that order. (Up to you where to fit spouses and in-laws or girlfriends or boyfriends into the list.) We all know how wrong it is that Lynn isn't down here finishing things up, and instead is up there with new projects, but at least we know she's up there. Our deep loss is their spectacular gain. But it still ain't right.

The last time I saw Lynn was at her New Barbershop,she cut my hair. We played with the Old Jukebox that she had put new records in. I told her I loved her. I only trust 2 people to cut my hair & Lynny was 1 of them. I will miss you Lynn . Thank you for being my friend. Godbless to you & your family. It is with disbelief and great sadness that I learned of Lynn's passing. Besides doing a great job for my hair, Lynn was a fun person to be around and spend time with. We had many laughs together and I always looked forward to seeing her She was a true friend.
Rest in peace, Lynn. You'll be sorely missed.

We were incredibly saddened to hear of Lynn's passing. She was such a vibrant soul. Gave the best haircuts to my husband Jeff for the past 30 years. We will miss her gigantic smile and her great laugh! Gone to soon, sleep well Lynn....Love, Bonnie & Jeff Ketcham

We´re very sad to have lost a dear and special friend!!
Lynn was the same age as my son and therefore one of my kids, and a great kid she was, one who would make any parent proud!!
We had many serious conversations over the years but always managed to end them with a laugh or at least a chuckle or a smile!!!
She was a bright, forthright, independent and sensitive person!!
Everyone in Heaven will look neater and be on their best behavior now that she´s there!!!

Pat, Laurie and David, I am so sorry to hear of Lynn's passing. As Laurie said I am sure she is giving heaven a run for their money! That is exactly how I remember her. You will be in my thoughts.

I lived next door to the Coles for many years. I babysat for both Laurie & Lynn from the time they were born till i moved away in 1973. They were `my girls´. God has opened his arms to welcome you Lynn. You are loved and will be missed by many!!

I´ll miss you and all the memories on New Hampshire Ave we shared as neighbors and childhood friends. We were sympatico in politics and an independent and often rebellious spirit ! You had a heart of gold and were there for me in my down times. I´ll miss your witty jokes and fun loving personality. Gone in body but not in spirit! Be free my friend !

I loved seeing Lynn at our New Year´s celebrations at Aunt Vera´s. May Lynn rest in eternal peace! Pat and Laurie, my sincere condolences to you! She will always be remembered!

I used to babysit Lynn and remember she loved oreo cookies as a bed time snack. She was best preschool friends with my brother and gave my son his first haircut! Many memories with you Lynn

There are so many memories, but the thing that makes me giggle to this day is driving home from the beach, in gridlock traffic leaving Misquamicut, in my little samurai, top off. Young car load of girls in front of us thought it would be fun to flip us off. Lynn gave them a moonie for days. LOL

She was a lot of fun back in the day. I wish I had kept in better touch with her. <3

Lynn and I shared many good times together as kids and adults. Of course growing up nextdoor to eachother was unforgettable. As adults we went to lots of concerts and enjoyed cruising in cars and boating together. Lynn cut my kids´ hair as well. She will be dearly missed by all but the memories we made will be cherished forever.

The world seems a bit dimmer without your light, Lynn. You had a heart of gold, and I will always cherish the memories of our childhood growing up like sisters. Be at peace. Heaven is lucky to gain an angel like you.
