Susan Larson, age 65, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to others.
Susan devoted over 30 years of her life to nursing, a career that perfectly reflected her caring spirit and deep love for helping people. Her patients, friends, and family alike admired her for her gentle heart, tireless work ethic, and steady presence in times of need.
Beyond her work, Susan will be remembered for her warmth, her selflessness, and the quiet ways she made the world a better place for everyone around her. She had a passion for photography and was known for always having a camera in hand, capturing life's moments-big and small. Her love for photography reflected her appreciation for the beauty in everyday life and her desire to preserve memories for those she loved.
She is survived by her loving son, David Newsome, her daughter-in-law, Jessica Gillotte, her cherished grandchildren, Oliver Adams and River Newsome, her brother, Robert Mason, her sister-in-law, Peggy Johnson, her niece, Evelyn Johnson-Mount, and her grand-niece, Marlow Mount. Her love for her family was endless, and her memory will live on through them.
A memorial service to celebrate Susan's life will be held Friday, July 18th, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Krodel Park Clubhouse, Point Pleasant, WV.
914 Krodel Park Rd, Point Pleasant, WV.
Though she is no longer with us, the kindness she showed, the love she shared, and the memories she preserved through her lens will continue to inspire all who knew her.
