She was born on December 15, 1956, in New Martinsville, WV, the daughter of the late Claude "Pete" and Alice Hawkins Postlethwait.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Darrell Postlethwait; son Michael Allen Postlethwait; grandson Alex Postlethwait and granddaughter Tosha Postlethwait.
Susie was a dedicated homemaker and a Christian by Faith. She valued family time and enjoyed the tranquility of rural living.
Survivors include her daughter Tracy (Paul) Poole of New Martinsville; son Donald (April) Postlethwait of Proctor, a sister Jolene (Pat) Henderson of Wileyville, 4 grandchildren, Marshall Postlethwait, Tucker Postlethwait, Timothy Kernan and Tiffany (Matt) Smith; 4 great grandchildren.
Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements entrusted to Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751Third Street, New Martinsville.
