Suzanne S. DeBerry, 53, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Born in Roanoke, VA, she was the daughter of Susan Flowers and the late Ralph Sowers. She will be dearly missed by her husband, E. Trey DeBerry.
Suzanne had a passion for working with children, which is what made her a wonderful and devoted educator. In her free time, she was an avid reader. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, and friend.
In addition to her mother and husband, Suzanne is survived by her children, Matthew DeBerry & wife Brooke, and Allyson DeBerry; sister, Emilee Moore (Hunter) and family; parents-in-law, Ed & Bettye DeBerry; brothers-in-law, Todd DeBerry (Kacey), and Tim DeBerry (Mary Bryan) and families; stepmother, Susie Sowers; stepfather, Thomas Flowers. She was preceded in death by her brother, Matthew Sowers.
The Celebration of Love service to honor the life of Suzanne will be held on Sunday April 06, 2025 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church Elizabethtown. Service will begin at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Penn State Health Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to help fight childhood cancer at https://engage.pennstatehealth.org or https://www.stjude.org/donate
