WADESBORO - On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Tammy Laverne Parson, 47, heard the voice of her Savior call her from labor to reward and she slipped away peacefully with her family by her side at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.
Tammy was born December 15, 1977, in Chesterfield County, SC and was a daughter of the late Eddie William Parson and the late Sarah Linda Little Parson. She was educated in the public schools of Anson County and later went back to school to receive her GED (General Education Development).
For many years she worked in the poultry industry working with both Tyson Foods and Cobb Vantress, last working as an inspector.
Those who are left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Saretha Parson and Tamiya Parson both of Wadesboro; her granddaughter, Miracle Pason; her sisters, Jacqueline Dunlap and Edwina Thomas (Frank) both of Wadesboro; her nieces Katelyn Parson, Shantell Liles, Seara Liles, Iyania Thomas, and Imani Thomas and her great-nephews and great-niece, Ken’yon Lindsey, Syncere Ledbetter, and Skylar Parson; her aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Parson and by her nephew, Izzac Thomas.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 17, 2025 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home.
Public viewing will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the funeral home.
The family is gathering at the home, 1352 HWY 52 in Wadesboro.
