Teresa L. Rogers, 71, of Fremont, OH, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on November 19, 1953 in Fremont, OH to Jose and Rosabelle (Shiley) Alejandro, Sr. Teresa was a 1972 graduate of Fremont Ross High School.
Teresa married Michael L. Rogers on December 1, 1973 and he preceded her on June 1, 2019. She worked in the cafeteria at Whirlpool for over twenty-five years and retired after many years of service. Teresa enjoyed fishing, going on motorcycle rides, watching NASCAR, The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Fremont Ross Football AND Jesse! She was very proud to get baptized, confirmed and receive communion all in the same day with her brother.
Teresa is survived by her daughters, Maryann (Dustin) Gerner, Fremont, OH, Andrea (Robert) Hayward, Clyde, OH; grandchildren, Chris Rogers, Zack Hatlay, Jakob Hatlay, Amaya Gerner, Jaedn Hayward, Jessica Logsdon, Kayin Hayward, Ann Moehling, Raiden Hayward; siblings, Antonio “Tony” (Sue) Alejandro, Arizona, Vickie (Gary) Foreman, Texas, Irene Owsley, Martha (Candelario) Nieto, Andres (Tracy) Alejandro, all of Fremont, Miguel (Kathy) Alejandro, Florida; bonus children, Paul and Jose Cruz, Jesse and Tony, Buc, Becky and Josh.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Carolyn Steward, David Alejandro Sr, Jose Alejandro Jr.; infant siblings, Virginia and Ana.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH.
Services will begin at 1:00 pm following the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials can be made in Teresa’s honor to her family.
