Teresa Ann Ward was born in Hayti, Missouri, on March 16, 1961. She was the daughter of Henry Russell and Jo Ann Russell Wallace.

She departed this life in New Madrid, Missouri, on July 25, 2025. She was 64 years old.

Teresa was married to Billy Ward on July 11, 1997, Dyersburg, Tennessee. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2016.

Teresa was a lady that never met a stranger. She loved people and was always willing to help anyway she could. She enjoyed watching westerns, and NCIS. She had a green thumb and loved to use it with plants outside and houseplants.

Teresa's greatest love was her family, including grandchildren and great grandchildren. She often said that the perfect day for her was to just be with them. Her very favorite name was "Nanny". At church she was Sister Teresa "Nanny" Ward.

She was a faithful member of Riverbend Pentecostal Church in New Madrid, Missouri.

She is survived by one son: Jonathan Davidson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; one daughter: Kim Keene of New Madrid, Missouri; one sister: Johnna Pratt of Paragould, Arkansas; seven grandchildren: Zachary Davidson, Logan Davidson, Annalee Keene, Kinley Keene, Crislyn Keene, Mack Keene, and Pearl Ward; two great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister – Dana Milloway, and an infant granddaughter – Kaylee Davidson.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 2 at 3:00 p.m. at Riverbend Pentecostal Church in New Madeid, MO, with Brother G.L. Keene officiating. Interment will follow in Wallace Mound Cemetery in Wardell, MO.

Visitation will begin at 2:00.
