Terri Sue Walker, age 64, of McMinnville, TN passed away July 05, 2025 at her home. She was born on June 17, 1961 in Hinton, West Virginia, worked at the Tacoma Utility Department before opening her own business, was a retired heavy duty diesel mechanic, and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served a tour overseas. Terri was a wonderful cook who raised the best beef and pork you ever ate. She was a fantastic carpenter, loved her puppies – aka "Kids", and greatly enjoyed sharing her words of wisdoms with those around her.
Surviving is her spouse and friend, Michelle DuVerney, who she spent 35 wonderful years together. She completed her in their love story and was her happiness; and they helped each other all the time. Also surviving is her mother, Ella Sue Lewis, and her sister, Sherri Lou Walker (Malinda Richardson), and numerous nieces and nephews. Terri was preceded in death by her father Don Lewis, sister Brenda Kay Walker, and brother Charles Leon Walker.
Terri will be cremated and no local services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local humane society or to your local veterans organizations.
