Funeral services for Terrie Ann Daugherty Jordan, 66, of Simsboro, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday July 8, 2025, At Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel of Ruston, with Rev. Jeff Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be at 9:00 A.M. prior to the funeral service at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at the Simsboro City Cemetery, Simsboro, La, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes.
Terrie was born December 24, 1958, in Magnolia, Arkansas, and passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in Arcadia, Louisiana.
Terrie was preceded in death by her sons, John Jordan and Danny Jordan, and infant daughter, Jamie Marie, Her father Bobby Daugherty, and her "bonus" dad, Milton Odom.
Survivors are her mother, Faye Odom; brother, Rusell Daugherty and wife Sharon; two grandchildren, Katie Nicole Jordan and Alex Jordan; and a host of family and friends. She was anticipating attending the wedding of Katie in October.
Terrie attended Simsboro High School and Delta Vocational College. She lived her life for her family, always putting their wants and needs before her own. She loved to cook; she was and excellent "candy maker". She made a variety of chocolate candy each year at Christmas to share with family and friends.
Pallbearers are "Chip" Pickett, Mickey Murphy, Blaine Russ, Lane Odom, Colin McDaniel, and Tim Nutt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 2249 Hazel Street, Arcadia, LA 71001.
