Terry Lee Brunnert, 78, of Argyle, was born June 25, 1946 at St Louis, a son of Lawrence George and Lucille (Wakefield) Brunnert, and passed from this life peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at his residence.
He was united in marriage on February 5, 1966, to Georgia Hoerr, and to this union two sons were born.
Terry lived a life full of faith, generosity, and adventure. He was known for his energetic spirit, deep Catholic faith, and unwavering love for his family. Terry lived with intention-fun-loving in his youth, kind and steady in his later years.
He was a devoted husband to Georgia Brunnert, his wife of 59 years, and a proud father to his two sons, Chris and Donald. Terry created a joyful, loving home where his family always felt supported and never went without. He believed in working hard, dreaming big, and living fully.
Terry was also a proud 53-year member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 36. His dedication to the trade became a proud family tradition-his brother John, his son Chris, and his grandson Chad are all members of the same local union, continuing his legacy in the skilled trades.
He will be remembered as a fearless dreamer who never gave up, a man who turned ideas into action and always found a way to make life richer for those around him. Whether through creating opportunities for kids to play and grow, building businesses that brought people together, or leading by example in his work and family life, Terry's impact was felt deeply. Above all, his fierce love and unwavering support for his family was the foundation of everything he did-a legacy of faith, resilience, and joy that will live on in all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife Georgia; his eldest son Chris, wife Mandy, and their children Alexis(husband Nathan) and Chad (girlfriend Emma); and his youngest son Donald and husband Jason; his sister Debbie Sesti; his brother, John and sister-in-law LaRae Brunnert; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence on June 9, 1987; his mother, Lucille on November 30, 1999; and brother-in-law, Mike Sesti.
A private viewing for immediate family will be held in accordance with Terry's wishes. No public funeral service will be held. The family deeply appreciates your love and prayers during this time.
