Terry Himes Obituary
Terry E. Himes, 79, husband of Lynne (Miller) Himes of Blandon, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in Phoenixville Hospital.
Born on May 12, 1945 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Curtis Himes, Sr. and Katherine (Buckwalter) Himes.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked for the Borough of Phoenixville for 30 years.
Terry liked listening to the Phillies and Eagles on the radio and enjoyed going to the casino.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 children:
Heather wife of Sergio Ramos;
Daryn Himes.
3 Step-children:
Charles husband of Robin Kenney;
Clayton husband of Paula Kenney;
Annette Galli.
Grandson, Sergio Ramos, Jr.
6 Step-grandchildren and 6 step- great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Douglas Himes, Sr., Wayne Himes, Sandy Clevenstine, Donald Himes, Kenneth Himes, Curtis Himes, Jr., Harold Himes, and Shirley Elvin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service in the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 10:30 am.
A visitation will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Southeastern Veterans Center Welfare Fund, 1 Veterans Drive, Spring City, PA 19475.
