Terry Jasper Obituary

Mr. Terry Jasper of Caseyville, IL formerly of Venedy, IL departed this life at La Bella of Edwardsville on Monday morning, June 30, 2025. He had attained the age of 71 years, 11 months, and 16 days.
Terry was born in Belleville, IL on July 14, 1953, the son of Marvin T. and Fern (nee Brockmann) Jasper. He was baptized in the St. Salvator Lutheran Church in Venedy on August 16, 1953, and confirmed there on March 19, 1967. Terry was united in marriage to Barbara Gayle Allen-Bandy in Hickman, KY on January 5, 1990, and she preceded him in death on December 30, 2013.
Mr. Jasper was a 1971 graduate of Okawville High School. He formerly worked at the Addieville Grain Elevator, Ligma in Nashville, IL, and he retired from the Dial Corporation where he worked as a forklift operator. Terry enjoyed going to the track to watch horse racing and dog racing. He liked playing Bingo and traveling with his wife. Terry was also an avid sports fan and loved St. Louis Cardinal Baseball and following college sports, especially the Kentucky Wildcats.
Left to mourn his passing are two sons, Corey Jasper and wife Jennifer of Breese, IL and Greg Jasper and wife Casey of Aviston, IL; five grandchildren, Travis Jasper and special friend Jillian Beckmann, and Tyler, Bree, Gracie, and Claire Jasper; three siblings, David Jasper of Okawville, Marsha Warren and husband Bob Jr. of Effingham, IL, and Brian Jasper and wife Tosha of Okawville; a step son-in-law, Jim Migernon of Caseyville; special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Countryman, a sister-in-law, Sharon Jasper, and a stepdaughter, Vicki Migernon.
In accordance with the wishes of Terry and his family, cremation was performed.
A memorial service will be held from the Campagna Funeral Home in Okawville on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 7 P.M. with Pastor Jeffrey Schwab officiating.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home on Monday from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
