Terry’ondra Deon Brown Augustine of Simmesport, Louisiana transitioned from his earthly home on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
Terry’ondra was born on August 7, 2002, he entered this world as a twin, he came in this world gracing the lives of his parents, Nicole Augustine and Wendell Terry Brown, Jr.
He was always a joy of light to his parents and his brothers. Terry’ondra (who was baptized at an early age by Pastor Charles Minor), was a very special young man, with his caring heart, kind words, happy disposition, loving, and most respectful loving spirit. He had a glow that warmed any room that he entered. He attended school in the Avoyelles Parish School system. While attending school he was known to be helpful to the faculty and staff both at Riverside Elementary School and Avoyelles High School. During his time at AHS, he quickly became a standout on the grid iron football field. He proudly wore #79 while riding to the Mustang Winning streak to advance in the semifinals of the playoffs, which left his mark in History. He was a graduate of Avoyelles High School in Moreauville, Louisiana on May 20, 2022. He was chosen to be on the 1st All Star Team of Cenla under the strong coaching skills of Coach Andy Boone, who was a mentor for him. He loved the game of football so much, that he just couldn’t leave it in high school. Terry’ondra advanced on to Diamond Football Academy in Lubbock, Texas; where he played football all the time, he dreamt about it, with that big loveable smile that was always on his face. To sum it all up, football was his joy and passion. Now, for his true love, that was his family. He was an extra supportive son to his mother and he loved when she cooked for him and played music which left him at peace; she often referred to him as her right hand, and he thought of her as his loving mother/Best Friend. Where you saw his mother most of the time you were going to see him, they spent so much time together. Terry’ondra was also a concerned and protective brother to all of his brothers especially his twin, Terry’onta. Yet, being the sweet and lovable son, his nurturing spirit for his two youngest brothers De’vonte and De’onte. He was always caring for and encouraging the growth in their developmental studies and skills.
Terry’ondra was preceded in death by his sister, Ja’onna Teshay Brown Augustine; brother, JaKerress Hawkins; aunt, Felicia Ann Watson; best friend, James Campbell, Jr.; maternal great-grandmother, Elmira Watson; and maternal great-grandfather, Albert Watson.
