Also, during this time, Terry joined the Army National Guard in
Redfield, SD.
Terry and Valarie Fey were married on August 15th, 1970, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Turton. They enjoyed 60 years together with almost 55 of them being married, full of faith, family, and friends.

Terry's two true loves of his life were his Catholic faith and his family, especially Valarie (Mom). He and Valarie spent many hours together, traveling to or being there early for their children's and grandchildren's events. Terry spent many happy hours with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and attending all their events. Terry's love of time spent with family even found him coaching and/or playing on the same team as some. During the holidays and with his family near, you would often see Terry with a huge smile on his face, wiping tears from his eyes, proclaiming "GOD is good!"
