BRUNSWICK- Thelma C. Coffin, 86, of Brunswick, ME passed away Monday July 14, 2025, at her daughter's home after a long illness with cancer.
She was born in Brunswick, Maine on May 3, 1939, to Mildred and Lloyd Mann. She has lived in Brunswick her entire life and married Larry Coffin of Brunswick on June 29, 1963.
She was a caring and loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was devoted to her family and really enjoyed spending time with family telling stories of the old days. She knew many people in Brunswick and would always find someone to chat with. She was loved by many. She loved reading the Times Record with her morning coffee and watching Gibbs on her favorite tv show NCIS.
Thelma is survived by her husband Larry Coffin; brothers Kenneth Mann and Thomas Mann of Brunswick, ME; daughters Judy Rumbaugh of Martinez, GA; Donna Gray of Bath, ME; Candy Kwasniak of Richmond, ME; Tammy Osgood of Augusta, ME and her adopted daughter Leah Hughes. She is predeceased by her son Randy Hughes and her adopted son Michael Coffin.
Thelma's visitation will be held at Stetson's Funeral Home, 12 Federal St. Brunswick, Maine on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 11am followed by a graveside service at 12:15pm at Riverside Cemetery on River Rd. in Brunswick.
Arrangements and guidance are in the care of Stetson's Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 12 Federal Street, Brunswick, Maine.
