Theodore Clemence "Ted" Bombinski, age 71, of Berlin, died peacefully on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at SSM Health Ripon Community Hospital.
He was born October 21, 1953, in Berlin, WI, the son of Clemence and Adeline Bennin Bombinski. Ted was a 1973 graduate of Berlin High School. He received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management from Moraine Park Technical College. On July 3, 1976, he was united in marriage to Sherrie Clark at St. Michael Catholic Church in Berlin.
Ted was the owner-operator of Clem's Bar in Berlin and also worked for the Berlin school system for a time. He was an original member and co-founder of Boomba's Boppers band, known for their performances at local events, for 55+ years. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Parish Church in Berlin.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie; son, Ben Bombinski (Jenny, and her daughter, Charlotte); sisters, Dianne Burling, Elaine Van Rhyn, Louise (Tom) Wagner and Lucille (Randy) Klimke; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Jeannie Holz, Bonnie (Will) Bostic, Curtis (Robin) Clark and Garry (Karen) Clark; and nieces, nephews and friends. Ted was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers-in-law, Walter Burling, Joe Van Rhyn and Roy Holz.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at All Saints Catholic Parish in Berlin. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Monsignor James L. Gunn officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel in Berlin. A memorial has been established.
