Theresa Laura Templeton Hubin, 88, of Frederick, MD passed away July 3, 2025.
She was born October 3, 1936, to John and Anna Templeton at The Homestead in Springbrook, WI and lived there until the family moved to Wentworth, WI.
Theresa was a substitute teacher at St. Rita's in Dundalk, MD in the mid-60s. After moving to Frederick, MD she started her business career as a receptionist for a local recruiting office working her way up to recruiter. She then started her own recruiting business called The Templeton Group. Successful to the point of having an office on K Street in Georgetown, MD.
Teresa was an avid travel visiting places like Haiti, Europe, and all over the US. She married her husband Tom in Mexico and was on an excursion in Scotland when the 9/11 attacks occurred.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, daughter Michelle O'Donnell (Jimmy), parents John and Anna, brothers Robert, Anthony, Thomas and Kenneth, sisters Kathleen, Rosalie, Josie, and Trudy.
Theresa is survived by her son John Miller (Amy), daughter Jan Scott (Kirk), stepdaughter Elaine Hughes (David), stepson Steve Hubin (Louise), grandson Nathan Pangburn, granddaughter Sarah White and great granddaughter Ava White.
Services: A private family gathering will be held at Lake Nebagamon Cemetery in Wisconsin at a date to be determined.
