Theresa Vadasz, 96, of Edison died at home on Thursday, July 10, 2025 surrounded by her family.
Born in Edison. She lived in Edison for the last 75 years. Theresa was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Metuchen. She was a child care giver at the Keith Wold Johnson child care center in Edison and and her last working experience was a sample lady for Costco in Edison until she was 90 years old.
She is predeceased by her husband, of 58 years. Anthony J. Vadasz, and four brothers and two sisters and one great grandchild.
Surviving are her two daughters, Carol Davey of Woodbridge and Terry and her husband Joseph Rowens of Kinnelon and two sons Anthony J Vadasz of Piscataway and John M and his wife, Jayne Vadasz of Richmond, Virginia.16 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandson and a brother Philip Arcuri and her sister Stella Benyola, and many many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 10am at The Costello-Runyon Funeral Home 568 Middlesex Ave. (RT 27) Metuchen, interment is at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. Visitation is Sunday 2-6.
