Theresa Marie "Terri" Veltri
7/6/1951-2/18/2025
Terri entered life July 6th, 1951, at Palomar Hospital being part of the first set of twins to be born at the "New" hospital. She was born to Theodore "Ted" Reyes Salas and Sallie Ann Salas. Terri left life on February 18th, 2025, at Kaiser Hospital in San Marcos surrounded by her family and those that loved her.
Terri lived her entire life in North San Diego County. She graduated from San Marcos
High School Class of 1970. She spent about 16 years working in quality control for Sony
In Rancho Bernardo. It was there she would meet her soulmate working on the TV boxing line. They were married soon after in 1977 at Meadowlark Church in San Marcos. Terri already had a daughter, Tyra Ann that Carmine adopted, and they had the start of a good small family. James Earnest came along in 1982, and their family was complete. Together they went through many ups and downs, but they went through them together. She always held her family and those close to her in the highest regard and love. She also loved her little dog Ginger as well.
She leaves behind her loving husband of nearly 47 years Carmine. She also leaves behind her daughter Tyra and son James. Grandchildren Mercedes, Destiny, Eliza, and Levi. She also leaves behind great grandchildren, Julian, Adasia, CJ, and Bryson. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Joe, sister-in-law, Irene, nephew CJ and niece Rosie of Valley Center CA. Brother-in-law Frank and sister-in-law Marit, nephews Carlo and Joe and niece Julia of Emmetsburg, Iowa and brother-in-law Carlo and sister-in-law Emilyn, nephew David and niece Ranza of Hagatna, Guam.
Services will be held March 5th, 2025, at 12 noon at: California Funeral Alternatives - 1020 East Pennsylvania Avenue Escondido, CA. 92025
