Thomas Hudson Obituary

Salem – Thomas Lewis Hudson, 82, loving husband of the late Linda Sue Ragle Hudson, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born on March 26, 1943, in West Union, South Carolina, Thomas was the son of the late Boone and Isabelle Bryson Hudson. Thomas was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, having honorably served during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to the textile industry. A man of many talents and quite creative, Thomas found joy in whittling, crocheting, and making furniture.
Thomas is survived by his son, Thomas Anthony Hudson; grandchildren, Haley Moore (Colby), Kristen House (Ronnie), Alaynna Hudson; great-grandchildren, Emry Jo Moore, Teagan House; and brother-in-law, Don Ragle and his wife Linda.
In addition to his wife and parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Renee Williams; brother, Billy Hudson; sisters, Joanne Leopard, Linda Gail Hudson, Judy Miles, and Marie Hudson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 pm, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Sandifer Funeral Home, with Military Funeral Honors and a visitation to follow.
