Thomas King Obituary

Thomas Anthony King of Wurtsboro, co-owner of 52 Automotive in Monticello, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown. He was 67.
The son of the late Thomas King and Dorothy Chako King Jancko, he was born January 12, 1958 in Monticello.
Tom was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend. He would do anything for anyone, and his only fault was not being able to say "No"! Other than his family, his shop was his purpose in life and he did it well. He was a total motorhead who loved cars, motorcycles, dirt bikes, hunting, fishing, visiting the Caribbean, and listening to the Grateful Dead and Little Feat.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Nancy J. Archbold King, at home; a daughter: Jennifer King of Hurleyville; a son: Shawn King (Jessica) of Mongaup Valley; three grandchildren: Logan Krasniqi, Rachel King and Juliette King; a sister: Connie DeFazio (JR) of Pennsylvania; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and one of his best friends, his dog Macho. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers: William and Robert King.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23 from 11:00am to 12:30pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello with a memorial service starting at 12:30pm
