Thomas P. "Tommy" Reed, 64, of Julian, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 29, 2025. Born July 13, 1961, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Frederick M. Reed, Sr. and Mary A. (Wilson) Reed.
Tommy was a 1979 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He owned and operated the family business at the Gulf Station on South Eagle Valley Road, where he specialized in automotive and motorcycle repair, as well as managing rental properties. A familiar and friendly face, Tommy could often be found sitting out in front of the garage, waving to friends and neighbors as they passed by.
He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially enjoying time spent feeding the deer and turkeys around his home. Tommy was also devoted to his dogs, with Titan, his loyal companion, surviving him. Known for his generosity and strong work ethic, he spent countless hours mowing and caring for not just his own property, but those of his neighbors-always refusing payment and accepting only a simple "thank you." Tommy will be missed by all that knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald J. Reed; a sister, Sandra K. Reed; a half-sister, Barbara A. Reed; and a half-brother, Frederick M. Reed, Jr.
In accordance with Tommy's wishes, all services will be private.
Arrangements are under the care of Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc. in Milesburg. An online guest book is available, and condolences may be shared with the family at www.daughenbaughfuneralhome.com.
