Thomas Spencer Rowe Jr. , born on September 13, 1932, in Pontiac, Michigan, was a beacon of kindness and faith throughout his remarkable 92 years. He passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, in Metamora, Michigan, leaving behind a legacy of love and service that will be cherished by all who knew him.

Thomas was a man of deep faith and commitment, which was evident in his lifelong dedication to the St. Michael Catholic Church in Pontiac. There, he served as a lay minister, a member of the parish council, and a catechism teacher, touching the lives of many with his gentle guidance and wisdom. His service extended beyond the walls of the church, as he honorably served his country in the United States Coast Guard, a testament to his unwavering sense of duty.

In his personal life, Thomas was a devoted family man, a cherished father to his daughters, Michelle Diem (Tom) and Teresa Jackson (Max) and a loving brother to Ronald Rowe (Diane). His warmth and guidance continued to his grandchildren, Heather, Bryan, Kyle (Nicole), Katie, and Jessica (Mike), as well as to his several great-grandchildren, who will all remember him as a kind-hearted patriarch.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Marjorie, his brother William Rowe (Evelyn), and his beloved wife, Anne Marie Rowe. Together, they shared a life full of joy and companionship, and their memories will be held close by all who were fortunate enough to witness their love.

A special thank you to the staff of Victoria's Assisted Living for taking great care of our father.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Thomas's life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in honor of Thomas can be made to the St. Labre Indian School at 1000 Tonge River road, Ashland, MT, 59003.
