Tais Michelle Jenkins, born on December 29, 1982, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, in D'Iberville, Mississippi. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother whose warmth and vivacity left an indelible mark on the lives of those she touched.
Tais was the cherished daughter of the late Larry Jenkins and Quilcene "Jetta" Jenkins, whose unwavering support and love shaped her into the remarkable woman she became. She also faced the enduring sorrow of losing her brother, Timothy James "TJ" Riggs, whose memory she carried closely in her heart throughout her life.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 21 years, Brian Anderson, with whom she shared a profound partnership filled with love and laughter. Together, they raised four wonderful children—Xyshan Jenkins, Christian Anderson, Christopher Anderson, and Ethan Anderson—who were the pride and joy of Tais's life. Her love for them was boundless, and she worked tirelessly to be the best mother and role model they could ever hope for.
Tais was born into a family that adored one another, and she fostered strong bonds with her siblings: Dexter Johnson (Kenya), Damien Riggs (Yolanda), Jeremy Jenkins (Sharon), Larry Watson and Kenneth Domino (Jennifer). The love and camaraderie among them were evident, each sibling holding a special place in Tais’s heart, creating a legacy of support and connection that will continue to resonate far beyond her years.
A vibrant spirit, Tais Michelle Jenkins brought joy and light into every room she entered. As a dedicated mother and loving partner, she inspired those around her with her kindness, resilience, and unwavering commitment to family.
As we remember Tais, we are reminded of the beauty of her life and the love she generously shared. A celebration of her life and legacy will be held, where friends and family can gather to honor the remarkable woman she was and continue the bond that will forever unite them in her memory.
