Todd A. Bader, 62, died surrounded by his loving family at his home on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
Todd was known for his skills as a diesel mechanic. His love for all things automotive was evident in his fondness for Chevy vehicles and his reputation as "Mr. Fix It." Todd’s work as a farmer showcased his dedication to the land and agriculture.
Todd's interests extended beyond his professional life; he found joy and fulfillment in sports, particularly in girls' softball, where he was an avid supporter and mentor. He was a devoted fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, the OSU Buckeyes, and Youngstown State University.
He is survived by his wife Sandra “Sandy” K. Bader; children Jeremiah (Amanda) Logue, Zachary (Tiffany) Logue, Allison (Sean) Hayes, and Sarah (Caleb) Peck; grandchildren Lilly, Carson, Hunter, Bella, Chase, Colten, Sutton, Oaklynn, Maddox, Lainey, and another grandchild on the way; father Robert T. Bader; siblings Teddy Bader and Janell (Steven) Harris; beloved in laws Betty Barker, Lester (Paula) Barker, Philip (Tina) Barker, and Eric (Michelle) Barker; many nephews and nieces; and Todd’s fur baby LJ.
Todd is preceded in death by mother Juanita (Yingling) Bader; infant brother Timmy Bader; and father-in-law Lester Barker.
Calling hours will be held in Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, 207 S. Main St. Baltimore, OH 43105, on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore, OH, Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers please consider honoring Todd’s memory by supporting the local sports community. Three organizations that were close to his heart were the Baltimore Youth Baseball Association, PO Box 243 Baltimore, OH 43105, the Baltimore Girls Softball League, PO Box 195 Baltimore, OH 43105, and the Liberty Union Youth Football, PO Box 185 Baltimore, OH 43105.
