Tranquilino "Tante" Blea, age 86, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on September 22, 1938, in Albuquerque, NM, and was a resident of Peralta, NM for over 70 years. Tante retired from the Los Lunas School District, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. A gifted woodworker and a natural storyteller, Tante loved sharing memories and lessons from his life with those around him. His warmth, wisdom, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Tante is survived by his loving wife, Aurelia Blea; his son, Gilbert Blea; his daughters, Isabel Torres (Andy) and Betty Aragon (Antonio). He was a proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren - all of whom will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Isabel Blea; six siblings; and his beloved grand-daughter Michelle.
