A Carthage homemaker, Ms. Trina Robertson-Henry, was discovered unresponsive at 5:40 a.m. Tuesday morning at the family's Vivian Lane home by her daughter Hagen. She was pronounced deceased on arrival at 6:36 a.m. July 29, 2025 at the Highpoint Health – Riverview Medical Center emergency department in Carthage.

She was at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home and had requested of her four daughters to be cremated and there were to be no services. In keeping with her wishes she is being cremated at the Cumberland Family Services in Algood and the cremains will be buried on her parent's lot in the Garden of Everlasting Life at the Smith County Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Trina was saved at the age of 10 and was baptized into the full fellowship of the Cave Springs Missionary Baptist Church in the Liberty Community of Dekalb County, where she remained a member until her death.
