NORTH LIBERTY – Troy A. Hauk, age 57, of North Liberty, IA, passed away unexpectedly on July 25, 2025, at MercyOne in Dubuque, IA. He was born November 9, 1967, to Francis Phil and Rose Ann (Brinkman) Hauk. Troy served his time before college in the Army National Guard. He attended Chippewa Valley Technical College, obtaining a certificate to be a Lineman. He had a long career in electric and power. Troy was a natural entrepreneur, dabbling in many things and always thinking. His favorite pastime was hunting, whether it be rifle or bow hunting. Troy was always planning his next adventure with family and friends.
Surviving is his father, Phil Hauk; siblings: Kelly Hauk, Dan (Julie) Hauk, and Kristi (Ed) Kreul; nieces and nephews: Chrissy Bailey, Nicole Like, Alex (Mercedes) Hauk, Lindsey Kreul, and Garret Kreul; and a very special friend: Krista.
Troy was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Ann.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville. In lieu of plants and flowers, donations can be made to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is assisting the family.
