Troy J. Scott, 64, of Lehigh, IA, died Friday, July 11, 2025, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge. 

Troy was born September 25, 1960, in Fort Dodge, the son of Philip E. and Marlene (Vladeff) Scott. He graduated from Central Webster High School in Burnside in 1978. Following graduation, Troy enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in 1982. He then began his career as a truck driver, which he loved. Troy enjoyed spending time with his family.

Troy is survived by 3 children: Candace Scott of Fort Dodge, Megan Rouse and husband Lesslie of Cherokee, IA, and Michael Dingman and significant other Carrie of Fort Dodge; 9 grandchildren: Dameon, Drake, Corbin, Reagan, Lesslie, Orville, Taevon, Traeshaun and Aubrianna; and 3 siblings: Tami Scott of Fort Dodge, Tari Gibson of Florida, Tom Scott of Minnesota. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and cousin: Kelly Vladeff.
