A fond memory I have of Harriet goes back into the mid 1990´s, our father-in-law (Tom Giordano) was living with Joe and I in South Philly. Harriet & Charlie took him to their Wildwood home to give me a week to unwind. After the trip was over and Dad came home, Harriet said, jokingly "she felt like she should be mad at me", because Dad kept telling her that´s not the way Marie does it, with everything from giving him his medication to making meals. She also told me that Dad refused to let her wash his clothes because I enjoy doing his laundry. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed.
