Vickey Lynn Bell Fulkerson, 67, of Philpot, went to be with her mom and dad on July 19, 2025

while at home in Philpot, KY. She was born on January 27, 1958 in Hancock County to the late

Joseph Lewis Bell and Mary Diana Morris Bell. She was a teacher for 42 years at South

Hancock Elementary School and loved every minute of it. She also tutored students after her

retirement. She was an avid reader, enjoyed beach trips, loved vintage memorabilia, and

anything glamorous . With her you never walked away hungry. Her greatest joy was teaching

all of her students and working with her beloved co-workers. Vickey's greatest love were her

husband Thomas and daughter Ashley.

In addition to her parents, Vickey is preceded in death by multiple family members which she

loved dearly.

She is survived by her loving husband Thomas Fulkerson, daughter Ashley

Oakley (Matthew Oakley) and multiple family members.

Thomas and Vickey were married for 48 years. Vickey was very active in her church at St Mary's of the Woods. She volunteered atthe church picnics, cooking at the Daniel Pitino Shelter, being a lector and eucharistic minister

for her church and participated in adoration every week. She also loved spending time with her

family. She was always planning and throwing parties at the Party Barn. If you knew Vickey,

she was always creating new memories.

Funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at St Mary's of the Woods

Catholic Church in Whitesville, Ky with burial following at Pellville Cemetery. Visitation will be

held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 1 PM to 7 PM at Cecil Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Pellville Cemetery, 12160 Hwy

2181 Hawesville, KY 42348
