Virgie Virginia Lee Kiersey, 83, of Booneville, Arkansas passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025. She was born on August 15, 1941, in Booneville, Arkansas to the late Wilford and Susie Kiersey.
Virgie was a very kind, caring, and loving person. Her family was incredibly important to her and she was very dedicated to spending time with and enjoying her nieces and nephews. She concluded her career in Human Resources at Booneville Human Development Center. She had a passion for collecting antiques and studying genealogy. She served as the genealogist for her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents before mentioned; brothers, Walter Kiersey and Clarence Kiersey; sisters, Rose Biggs and Agnes Scharbor; and nephews, Gary Biggs, Brent Scharbor, Kenny Kiersey, and Billy Kiersey.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Roberts Memorial Chapel with burial at Glendale Cemetery, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. There will be no graveside service.
Visitation will be prior to the service on Saturday from 9:00 – 10:00 am.
Virgie is survived by her brothers, Chester Kiersey of Casa, Arkansas and Lawrence Kiersey (Shelby) of Banks, Arkansas; nieces, Kay Perkins, Karen Kiersey, Sue Bittle, Carol Talley, and Regina Kiersey; nephews, Mike Kiersey, David Scharbor, Bill Biggs, Bob Scharbor, and Larry Kiersey; and other relatives and friends.
