Virginia Coffey Obituary

Virginia Lee Crisp Coffey, 80, of Marble, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025.
Virginia was born in Cherokee County to the late Harold and Ethel Martin Crisp.
She was a homemaker. Virginia loved working in the garden, especially her flowers, and took pride in her meticulous housekeeping. She also loved spending time with her family.
Virginia was ready to go home to be with her love, Kenneth, and Roderick "Roddie" Coffey. She was a member of Valleytown Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Coffey; her son, Roderick "Roddie" Coffey; and her sister, Brenda Everett.
She is survived by her brothers, Ben Crisp (Jackie) of Hayesville; and Alvin Crisp (Donna) of Douglasville, Ga.; her sisters, Thelma Mull (Ray) of Hayesville, and Charolette Ball of Murphy; her granddaughter, Ashley Coffey (Brent); her great-grandchildren, Serenity Howard, Lincoln Polise and Kayson Polise; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy with Rev. Aud Brown officiating. Burial will be in Moss Cemetery in Marble. Pallbearers will be Lucas Mull, Beau Webster, Trent Webster, Brent Morrow, Ty Webster and Shon Crisp.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy prior to the funeral service.
