Virginia Mary Collard Cole left this world peacefully on June 21st, 2025 in Hope, Ar.

Virginia was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and friend to all that knew her. She was born in Freeman, Michigan and came to Arkansas with family. She decided to make it her home after meeting the love of her life, Weldon. They were happily married for 61 years. She loved quilting, crocheting, cooking, gardening, and making unique crafts.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Weldon Cole, her parents; Lillian Kalka Collard and Glenn Collard, two grandchildren; Cody Joseph Cole and Amy Marie Taylor; a great granddaughter Raven Hodges; daughter-in-law Linda Cole; sisters Frances Heflin, Mary Fulbright, Lou VanWezema, Ruby Collard, her brothers: Ernest Collard, and Donald Collard.

Survivors include her children, Virginia Atkins (Billy), Lynda Cole, Mary Hodges (Billy), Weldon Cole, Jr. (Sabrina), and Glen Cole(Whitney); her sisters Lucille Wright, Dorothy Gilmore, Brothers; Tim Collard, Doug Collard, eighteen grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 24th at 10am at Herndon Fuqua Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow 11am at Memory Gardens. Please join a Gathering of family and friends immediately following the graveside service at her residence.
