Virginia Elizabeth Combs, 68, of Nolanville died Thursday July 17, 2025 at her home. Memorial services will be at a later date.

Mrs. Combs was born January 8, 1957 in Concrete, WA. to Zareh Frederick & Avis Marie Asdourian. She married John Everett Combs, III on February 6, 1987 and he preceded her in death earlier this year. She was a U. S. Army veteran. She worked in food service for many years.

Though much of her light was dimmed by the harshness of life, those who knew her saw the quiet beauty she carried. She was a saint of a woman, soft-spoken, endlessly kind, and deeply thoughtful. A lover of books and cats, she often reminisced about her childhood in the upper reaches of Washington State, where her spirit felt most free. Her wisdom ran deep, even when unspoken, and her gentle nature lives on in soft strength of those she leaves behind.

She is survived by:

Daughter Laura Beth Combs of Austin

Sons Travis Combs of Cameron

Joshua Combs of Round Rock

Sister Ann Marie Asdourian-Taylor

Brother Charles "Chuck" Paul Asdourian

2 grandchildren, Noah and Delilah Combs
