Virginia Pearl Pimental, age 77, a resident of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI. She was born on September 2, 1947 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to Ernest and Pearl (Virginia Frain) Dubics. Virginia was united in marriage to Daniel Wayne Pimental on June 30, 1978. Together they shared 28 years of marriage before he passed on June 9, 2007.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Virginia served during the Vietnam War from 1965 – 1968. She later began a career at Macomb County Friend of the Court where she served as a Service Clerk for over 29 years, retiring in 2006 to take care of Daniel. Virginia's Christian faith remained steadfast over the years as she was a long time member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Clinton Twp. where she previously served as a Eucharistic minister. As her own health declined over the years and she became unable to attend church, she continued to watch the weekly masses online, as well as many of the Vatican masses. Virginia enjoyed gardening and maintaining the beauty of her landscaping. She appreciated the friendships shared in the Red Hat Society, proudly wearing one of her favorite Red Hats on many social outings. Spending time with her family and taking day trips to Frankenmuth with her daughter were always looked forward to and brought Virginia much joy.
She is survived by her daughter Marsha (David) Santi, four grandchildren; Joshua (Liz) Santi, Joseph (Fiancée Macenzie) Santi, Joy Santi, and Jessica Santi, and great-grandson Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Daniel.
Visitation will be held in the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main Street, Mount Clemens, MI on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 2:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. Funeral services preceded with Military Honors will begin at 7:00p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery on Thursday July 3, 2025 at 10:30a.m. Memorial donations in memory of Virginia are suggested to St. Louis Catholic Church.
