Wade E. Dean, a cherished family man, respected colleague, and beloved member of the Forester Township community, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on May 9, 1948, in Holden, West Virginia, Wade's early years in the close-knit town of Man, W. VA. instilled in him the values of hard work, loyalty, and the simple joys of life.
Wade's life was a testament to his dedication to his family and his craft. He was lovingly married to his wife, Sharon, on June 27, 1970, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, a union that was blessed with a daughter, Kathleen Dean, who filled their lives with joy and pride. His commitment to family extended to his brothers, Gary (June) Dean, Fred Dean, and his sisters, Brenda Reed and Pat (Larry) Toler, as well as to his several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember his guidance and laughter. Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Marie (Mullins) Dean; brother Glenn Mullins and sister Geraldine Compton, and his brother-in-law Jerry Reed all of whom he remembered with deep affection.
Wade's formative years were spent at Man High School in Man W. VA., where he not only received his education but also formed lifelong friendships and a strong sense of community. After high school, he ventured to Michigan, where he embarked on a rewarding career with the Ford Motor Company. His thirty years at Ford were marked by dedication and a reputation as a diligent and skilled worker, earning the respect and friendship of his colleagues.
Beyond his professional life, Wade was a man of diverse interests and talents. His love for woodworking was more than a hobby; it was an art form that allowed him to create beautiful pieces that his family and friends will treasure forever. His garden was a source of pride and joy, a testament to his patience and connection to nature. And anyone who knew Wade knew of his passion for shooting pool, a pastime that brought him many joyful moments and spirited competitions.
As we bid farewell to Wade E. Dean, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of love, hard work, and cherished moments. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. Wade's memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and the community he so dearly loved. His was a life that truly made a difference, and his spirit will continue to inspire us all.
