Memorial funeral services for Mr. Walt Anderson Hart, 67, of Carthage, Texas will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Anderson, Rev. Aaron Bequette and Rev. Billie Brewer officiating. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Hawthorn Funeral Home. Mr. Walt Anderson Hart was born February 18, 1958, in Panola County, Texas. He passed this life on July 21, 2025, in Longview, Texas. Walt was one of three children born to the marriage of Madeline Baker and Ben Hart. He was raised and schooled in Carthage, Texas. Attended Carthage High School and was voted as the class favorite. Mr. Hart worked as a heavy equipment operator. He worked many years for Bertis Seegers and 34 years for Texas Utilities before his retirement. He married Vivian Jeanette Wilkerson June 21, 2002. Walt loved the outdoors hunting and fishing, watching his favorite team the Dallas Cowboys play football, but music was his love in life. He played in bands and even kept the Esquire Theater laughing. He was a faithful family man and witnessed to many youth through his music and life. He is preceded in death by his father, Ben Hart and a brother, Ben C. Hart. Mr. Hart is survived by his loving wife Jeanette Hart; his beloved mother Madeline Hart; sister Andrea Peck and husband Paul of Carthage; sister in law, Tricia Hart and her son, Zach Hart, his extended family Judy Palmer of Gladewater, Jerry Broadus of Carthage, Randall Wilkerson of Carthage, children, Amber Isbell and husband Donny, Kinder De La O and husband Erik, Britney Crabtree, Whitney Crabtree; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Isbell, Kayleigh Isbell, Karsyn Isbell, Erik De La O, Sofia De La O, Layton De La O, Vida De La O, Reece Luker; and special cousin, Nancy Love; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Brian Cumbie, Kenneth Bearden, Bob Stillwell, Don Barnett, John Gossett, George Hutto, Reece Luker, Ben Peck, Larry Brown, Larry Sexton, Tommy Ishee, Randy Fyffe, Mike Railey, Coty Jones, Tim Anders, Matt and Colt Buchanan. The family wishes to thank Hospice Plus for their excellent care and kindness. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Walts immediate family and to those that knew him. He was a tremendous blessing to those that knew him his spirit was unmatched. I know that he is in the hands of our heavenly father. And thank him for our time spent together!! O death where is thou sting. O grave where is thou victory. Amen
