Wanda Joy Goodlett Adams, 79, died Friday, June 13, 2025 at the home of her daughter following an illness. A native of Nelson County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late John Marion Goodlett and Lillie Mae McKinney Goodlett. She retired from Central State Hospital where she worked as a secretary for many years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crafting, yard sales and sushi. In addition to her parents, her loving husband of 38 years, David Adams, her son, Tony Adams and four siblings, Sadie Milby, Mary Sanders, Virginia Coulter and Clayton Goodlett, preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Jackson-Gregory of Greenville, IN, four sons, James R. Thacker, Jr. (Linette Cabrera) of Campbellsville, John Thacker (Tammy) of Palmyra, IN, Bobby Thacker (Missy) of Goshen and Richard Thacker of Louisville; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has been selected in accordance with her wishes. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home with visitation after 11 a.m. Scarlett Thacker will deliver the eulogy, and Pastor Tom Burk will officiate.
