Wanda Ann Donahue Gilley, age 84, of Heritage Place, Morehead, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025, at UK – St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born April 17, 1941, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Crystal and Lorene Staton Donahue. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John David Donahue, and four sisters, Etta Mae Brown, Hazel Melton, and two infant sisters, Mary Sue Donahue and Martha Elizabeth Donahue.

Wanda was also preceded in death by her first husband, Reuben Kimberly Jones and her second husband, Vernon Gilley.

She is survived by a daughter, Shalla Conley of Ashland; one sister, Naomi Moore Harris and husband Lloyd of West Liberty; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.

Wanda was a homemaker and former secretary for the U.S. Navy recruiting office in Morehead. She enjoyed visiting with her neighbors, and spending time with her family. Wanda will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

At her request, there is no visitation or funeral service.
