Wanda Rice Obituary

Wanda " Nanny" Rice, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, July 12, 2025. Wanda was a member of Souls Harbor Church of which she attended faithfully. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha Young Cole; son, James Mark Cain; daughter, Robin Deann Colinger; her baby boy, Bryant Allen Cole; sister, Barbara Haas; brothers, Jerry Cole and Junior Cole. Survived by her son, Larry Cain (Shirley); daughter, Janet Smith all of New Market; Wanda was known as Nanny to many, including her 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will gather at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 17th, at Pleasant Grove Piney Baptist Church Cemetery in New Market for a graveside service with Rev. Ronnie Trent officiating.
