Wanda Lee Slover was born Wanda Lee Anthony in Avant, Oklahoma on February 2, 1939.
On May 18, 2025, she went on to celebrate her life with her parents Marion Eldon (M.E.) Anthony Sr, and Pearl Loren Newcomb Anthony who preceded her in death.
She married Jackie Floyd (Jack) Slover in Borger, Texas on November 15, 1961. He passed on August 29, 2015.
Wanda was a longtime resident of Stratford where she was a member of Stratford Methodist Church.
She is also preceded in death by brothers, Anthony, Marion Eldon Anthony Jr. and Bobby Lee Anthony; son, Ricky Dale Slover; and son in law, Rick Danklefs.
She is survived by Johnny Raymond Slover and wife Rebecca of Oologah, Oklahoma, Sherri Lorene Danklefs of Liberal, Kansas, and Anthony Wayne Slover and wife Julie of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren, Jerod Adams of Baker, Oklahoma, Anthony Adams of Tyrone, Oklahoma, Jacob Slover of Wolfforth, Texas. and Kyle Slover of Burleson, Texas; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Kadin, Cameron, Keagan, Kaitlyn, and Hunter; and great great-grandchildren, Paige and Asher.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 AM, Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Stratford Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Stratford Methodist Memorial Fund, 520 N Main St, Stratford, TX 79084-1803.
