Wayne Luli Obituary

Leetonia - Wayne Luli, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at his home.
He was born on December 29, 1950, in Akron, a son of the late Elmer and Florence Bowman Luli.
Throughout his career, Wayne brought dedication and heart to every job-whether as a foreman at NRM, in sales with NFL Welding Engineers, or most recently, as a trusted maintenance man at Harmony Village. He was a member of Columbiana Baptist Church where he was a deacon and loved serving his Lord wherever he was needed. He enjoyed a relaxing round of golf and camping with family and friends. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Hawkins Luli, whom he married on March 20, 1976; his son, Joshua (Lisa) Luli of Salem; his daughter, Mindy (Nathan) Gear of Valparaiso, IN; four grandchildren, Morgan Gear, Maggie Luli, Max Luli and Megan Luli; a brother, David (June) Luli of Akron and a sister, Jackie Luli of Uniontown.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 21, 2025 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Columbiana Baptist Church and Tuesday, July 22 from 10:00 am-11:00 am at the church, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with Pastor Jeff Jamieson officiating.
Interment will be at a later date in Oakdale Cemetery, Leetonia.
