Wayne Trohalides passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 26th, 2025 at The Elms care center in Cranbury New Jersey. He was seventy-two years old.

Wayne was born on January 1st, 1953 to the late Theodore and Beatrice Trohalides. Wayne was raised in New Brunswick and North Brunswick and attended the local New Brunswick School system. Upon his graduation from New Brunswick Highschool, he attended Middlesex community college. He worked briefly for National Auto Parts before settling into his profession as a splicer for New Jersey Bell/Bell Atlantic/Verizon. It was at this time that Wayne met his loving wife and partner, Deborah. They bought their first house in North Brunswick, later moving to Belle Mead in 1994, where they would enjoy their later years together. Wayne dedicated many long hours to providing for his family, ultimately concluding his career at Verizon and retiring in 2008. He then created and ran his own Ebay business until 2017.

Wayne loved the beach. Whether it was on the boardwalk or having sand beneath his feet, he felt at home down the shore. He was also an avid freshwater and saltwater fisherman; he would go fishing any chance he could. Wayne also enjoyed playing tennis, gardening and working around the house on various projects. He was actively involved in the Boy Scouts. He enjoyed going on camping trips and took pride in mentoring his son Nicholas as he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Those who knew him could attest to his quick wit and ability to tell stories in a way that made people laugh.

Wayne is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Deborah (Biondo) Trohalides and his son Nicholas Trohalides. He is also survived by many extended family and close friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
