Wendell Glynn Brandenburg, age 75, of Sulpher Wells Road in Irvine, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at his home following a long illness. He was born June 10, 1950, in Estill County, and was the son of the late Wendell and Betty Ann Henry Brandenburg. He was a farmer and had lived in Estill County all his life. He is survived by:

1 brother: Ricky Lynn Brandenburg
1 niece: Michele Lee Abraham
2 nephews: Ricky Lynn Brandenburg Jr. (Brittany)
Noah Glenn Brandenburg (Joshua)
2 great nieces: Cailey Marie Brandenburg and Brooklyn Faith Brandenburg
1 great nephew: Darren Levi Brandenburg
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Wendell Glynn Brandenburg Jr., his sister, Penny Lou Brandenburg, and 1 niece, Samantha Jo Brandenburg.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 2, 11 AM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Floyd and Bro. Ronald Lutes officiating. Burial will be at the Gould Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM.
