Wes Brown, 67 years old, of Dalhart, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025, at BSA Hospital in Amarillo following a brief illness.
Wes was born September 20, 1957, in Clayton, New Mexico and lived in Dalhart the past 30 years. He was the son of the late Walter G. Brown and Loyce Jo (Medford) Smith. Wes was a diesel mechanic for T.E.K.S. LLC. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to Southern Rock, and the casinos.
In addition to his parents, Wes was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Nelson. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Nancy (Henley) Brown; sons: Payton Brown, John Henley, Clarence Henley, and Bo Henley all of Dalhart; daughters: Jesica Rosecrans (Tiffany Garza) of Lubbock, and Sandy Thigpen of Coffeyville, Kansas; a brother, Jimmy Brown of Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A reception for friends and family and a time to honor Wes's memory will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, June 27 at T.E.K.S. LLC, 915 US-87, Dalhart
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016 (www.kidney.org).
