Anita A. (Bouchard) Lagace, 67, of Terryville, beloved wife of Leonard S. Lagace, died on Thursday (September 4, 2025) at The Pines at Bristol.

Anita was born on February 5, 1958, in Hartford and was one of 19 children of the late Antoine and Anita (Lausier) Bouchard.

She was raised in Terryville and graduated from Terryville High School.

She worked at Patterson Oil of Terryville and Connecticut Spring.

Her hobbies were ceramics and scrapbooking, and she loved tending to her flower and vegetable gardens.

In addition to her loving husband, Anita is survived by two sons: Marc Boulanger and wife, Ayla of Florida, and David Boulanger and Ashley Adamo of Plainville; 15 siblings: Daniel Bouchard of Terryville, Theresa DuFour of Terryville, Barbara Borkowski of New Britain, James Bouchard of Wolcott, Michael Bouchard of Bristol, Linda Monahan of Terryville, Patricia Bouchard and Sheila Madore of Van Buren, ME, Arlene Beger of Bristol, Lisa Accousti of Waterbury, Pamela Durand of Bristol, Deborah Littau of New Hartford, David Bouchard of Florida, Tina Cybulski of Terryville, and Steven Bouchard of Florida; eight grandchildren: Dylan, Janessa, Cora, and Delaney Boulanger, Shane Douphin, Keely Mills, Calob Boulanger, and Annalise Calvo; three great-grandsons: Matteo, Samuel, and Josiah Marrero; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and siblings: Edmund, Arleen, and Nancy Bouchard.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (September 12, 2025) at 9:30 AM from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol to St. Ann Church, 215 West St., Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home on Thursday between 4 and 7 PM.
