In Loving Memory of Michael (Mike) Vincent Chambers
With deep love and gratitude, we bid farewell to our beloved father, Michael Vincent Chambers, who passed peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025, surrounded by the warmth of family.
Born in Alabama and raised in Pensacola, FL, Mike attended Pensacola High School. He was a man of many joys-he loved fishing, camping, square dancing, cheering on his favorite sports teams (especially the Atlanta Braves, New Orleans Saints, and Florida State Seminoles), and bringing smiles to children as Santa Claus during the holidays. Above all, he brought laughter, warmth, and joy to his own family, creating cherished memories for his children and grandchildren that will live on for generations.
Mike was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Lois Chambers; his son, Louis; and his daughter, Robin. He is survived by five daughters: Debbie (William Cochran), Maryann Land, Becky Spillar, Debra Colley, and Sharon Colley. He also leaves behind a legacy of love through numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Lewis Funeral Home Navarre Chapel, 7794 Navarre Parkway, Navarre, Florida 32566, with visitation from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. and service at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church, located next door.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Mike's name to your local animal shelter, such as Santa Rosa County Animal Services, the Humane Society, or Animal Welfare of Pensacola-reflecting his lifelong compassion for animals.
