William "Bill" Harvey Branson Jr., 66, of Belleville, IL, born Monday, December 29, 1958, in Norfolk, VA, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran, serving his country with pride.
Known for his ever-cheerful spirit, quick wit, and the kind of smile that could brighten even the cloudiest day, Bill lived a life full of color and compassion. Whether he was cracking a joke to lighten the mood, lending a hand to a friend in need, or creating beautiful stained-glass pieces that caught the light just right, he brought joy and warmth everywhere he went.
He had a special way of making everyone feel taken care of. Bill was always the one who showed up, who remembered the little things, and who made you laugh when you needed it most. To be in his circle was to be cherished.
Bill always had his beloved dog named Evie by his side. She was more than a pet, she was his loyal companion, shadow, and best friend.
He leaves behind a legacy of service, artistry, and love- a life well-lived, filled with purpose, laughter, and much happiness. Bill will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
