William Alan Hall, Jr. passed away (at Morristown Memorial Hospital) and began his eternal life on June 19, 2025, at the age of 56.
Born on May 24, 1969 (in the same hospital), Bill spent most of his life in the local Hackettstown area. He loved sports and played both football and baseball throughout his school years, sometimes with his dad coaching. Upon graduating Hackettstown High School in 1988, he proudly decided to serve our country and joined the Army (Ft Benning GA), later transferring to Mt Freedom NJ to serve with the National Guard.
Bill was skilled in the trades, and his work career included being both an employee, and eventually an owner, in the plumbing and heating business, with a certification in HVAC. He also attended the Allentown Police Academy, worked for the Allentown Sheriff's Office, and later served as an officer for the Lehigh University Police Department.
Bill's passions included golfing, hunting, fly fishing, ocean fishing and just sitting on a beach enjoying the ocean with friends and family. Anyone who knew him knew he was a loyal Red Sox fan. He loved his kids, who share his blue eyes and contagious smile.
Bill leaves behind his daughter, Brianna Hall, of Franklin TN, and son, Nicholas Hall, his wife Shaina and grandson Kane, of Ledgewood NJ; as well as his mother Pat Disbrow and stepfather David Disbrow of The Villages, FL; stepmother Barbara Hall of Effort, PA; sister Lori Cox and her husband Don Cox of Hackettstown NJ, and his "brother from another mother" David Degraw of Easton PA. Bill is predeceased by his father, William Alan Hall, Sr.
A celebration of life will be held in Hackettstown, NJ (date to be announced).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Miracle Lake Christian Training Center (www.miraclelake.org) via the website or via check "In Memory of William A. Hall" to Miracle Lake Inc., PO Box 327, Etowah TN 37331.
